San Francisco skaters will be gracing your television screens soon in the latest
commercial by Coca Cola that was recently filmed in the City by the Bay. You can
look for speedskaters Roy Ames and Kevin Barnard (on foot) folding down huge balloons.
You can check out the Roller Derby Babes swooshing through the crowds. Even skate
instructors (The Old Dude, Phil Lenihan) blowing the bagpipes. And, of course, San
Francisco's Skating Cows. Skaters were everywhere in this commercial. It was
quite a bizarre experience with the rain, lightning and thunder. There was even a tornado
in Napa. Skaters showed up at 5:45 A.M. and hung in there for what turned out
to be so super long.day.
Rose was sooooooo tired. This is the longest she has skating since she did the
Friday Night Skate in 1996!!!!!!! She took a couple of falls, but this may be the catalyst
that gets her on those wheels more often.
San Francisco's Skating Cows are going to be famous because of you all!!!!!!!!
Wouldn't it be great if the ad airs during the SuperBowl!!!!! Here are the
pictures sent from Roy Ames.
Thanks again and Keep Rollin',
D. Miles Jr.
