Certificate of Honor - Halloween, 1996 In 1996, the Friday Night Skate was under attack. Sgt. Jim Hughes of the San Francisco Police Department launched a campaign to bust up the weekly skate that was numbering about 600 to 700 every Friday night. San Francisco Board of Supervisors President Tom Ammaino and Supervisor Leslie Katz wanted to show their support for the Friday Night Skate by presenting this award. |

Skate Against Violence - Los Angeles, 1997 C.O.R.A. skaters were honored in Oct. 1997 as they skated through Los Angeles, Ca. on our way to Santa Monica in the Skate Against Violence Roadskate from San Francisco to Santa Monica. The Los Angeles Police Dept. gave our group a police motorcycle escort with lights andf sirens blaring to Los Angeles City City Hall where the Mayor and other local dignatairies presented the awards |

Skate Against Violence - Santa Monica, 1997 C.O.R.A. skaters ended the 1997 Skate Against Violence Roadskaste in Santa Monica. The City of Santa Monica honored the skaters by naming that week, "Skate Against Violence Week" |
