| "SKATIN' PLACE" was a public access television
show that focused on the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area skate scene. The show aired every
Monday evening at 8:30 P.M. on Comcast cable channel 29 with live broadcasts on the 2nd
Monday of every month. The show now airs as an internet based web show that has the same
focus, but a worldwide audience. Skatin' Place has been honored with two
Cable Access Awards and was nominated for a BACE (Bay Area Cable Excellence) award in
1998. It was considered one of the most successful shows on San Francisco public
access until the channel was hijacked by a foul corporation that had figured out a way to
milk the system for money. The public access channel now sucks big donkey turds, but
SKATIN' PLACE still rolls along.
