| The San Francisco Gravity
Festival is an Extreme Downhill Race featuring the world ís top professional racers in downhill skateboard, buttboard,
streetluge, gravity speed bike, and downhill inline skating. Racers reached speeds of over
60 miles per hour on the half mile course in beautiful McLaren Park in San Francisco. The event is part of the IGSA (International Gravity
Sports Association) Points Series. National points will be awarded in Pro Street
Luge, Pro Downhill Skateboard, Pro 3/4 Fairing Gravity Bike, Pro Stock Gravity Bike, Pro
Classic Luge (Buttboard) and Pro Downhill Inline.
The races are held on a ½ mile closed
course, originally scouted for the X-Games, located on John F. Shelley Drive in Mclaren
Park, San Francisco, California. Practice will be Friday, Sept. 24 from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00
P.M. There will ber a short morning practice on Saturday, Sept 25. Qualifying began at
10:00 A.M, Saturday, Sept. 25 with racing on Sunday, Sept. 26 from 9:00 A.M.. to 3:00
P.M.
