Sunday during San Francisco's Sunday
Streets.
At right, David Miles Jr. skates on Terry A. Francois Street. This event was the second and final time this year that the city experimented with closing down parts of San Francisco to encourage people to get out and about and have fun. Sunday Streets, which ran from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., involved closing traffic lanes between Chinatown and the Bayview. A variety of groups hosted free activities along the route. More than 100 sponsors partnered with the city. |
